On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, the Czech Science Foundation (GA ČR) selected 30 leading scientific figures, including Elías. They were invited to write a congratulatory message that was published on both the GA ČR website and its social media channels.
“I have only words of gratitude to the Czech Science Foundation (GA ČR) and all the people who are part of it for the support they give not only to senior researchers, but also to early career researchers like me. I am fully aware of the privilege and responsibility of obtaining a Junior Star grant, all the more so as someone whose research is in the humanities.
Thank you very much therefore, GA ČR, for allowing me to establish an interdisciplinary team with which I seek, among other things, to revitalise and make long-term contributions to the studies on Bernard Bolzano.
I wish that one day you will attain the stability you deserve to carry out your endeavour and that, in the meantime, you will be able to continue to overcome any obstacles you may face.”
