Allison studied Physics and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics at Charles University. She is currently studying a PhD in the History and Philosophy of Science and Technology at the University of West Bohemia, working on her dissertation on the 18th and 19th century star catalogues under the supervision of Elías Fuentes Guillén and the co-supervision of Petra Hyklová.
She works at the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute as air quality reporting expert and has a decade of experience in popularisation of science.
